Read-Eval-Print-λove v002 – UrLISP is go!

Nov 24, 2014

It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally put the finishing touches on the latest installment of Read-Eval-Print-λove, the Lisp/Little Languages zine.

In the latest installment I discuss the roots of Lisp and dive fairly deeply into an implementation of John McCarthy’s original vision as described in his seminal paper “Recursive functions of symbolic expressions and their computation by machine, Part I.”

Some important links are below:

Remember that all installments are considered living documents and can and will change for the better based on feedback from readers.

I hope you’ll enjoy. :F

  1. I offer ebook versions of Read-Eval-Print-λove through LeanPub (i.e. PDF, MOBI and EPUB). The price is very low, but I’d appreciate it very much of you can find it in your heart to give more.

  1. “But for now perhaps you could go off and implement the same using your favorite programming language?”

Applesoft BASIC is NOT my favourite programming language.
