The Conet Project
I discovered The Conet Project many years ago through an old friend from college (thanks P373), and listened to it for many years. However, I recently (today) found out that the complete audio of The Conet project is available at Archive.org.
Numbers stations are an infinitely fascinating topic and well worth the exploration. In celebration of The Conet Project, below you’ll find the complete English radio operator’s alphabet:
Alpha | Bravo | Charlie | Delta | Echo |
Foxtrot | Golf | Hotel | India | Juliet |
Kilo | Lima | Mike | November | Oscar |
Papa | Quebec | Romeo | Sierra | Tango |
Uniform | Victor | Whiskey | X-Ray | Yankee |
Zulu |
Enjoy.

Well.. I’m pleased that I learned of this here! rather than on some Pitchfork equivalent. It’ll be like the extra record of the Harry Smith Anthology,
..except on cd. Send a postcard please.
