I’ve so far resisted the pull of the iPad and the longer I resist the easier it becomes. I fail to see its revolutionary nature, but I would not discount my missing it since I can barely think about anything but Clojure these days.

Yes, they are inspired by a Scandinavian word. In Norwegian the verb is “imponere”, which basically means “impress”.
